Recycle your toner and inkjet cartridges
Did you know that every year, over 1.1 billion cartridges are sold and more than 500 million are dumped in landfill sites around the world?
Toner particles are classified as controlled waste under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Waste) Duty of Care regulations. This means that a licensed waste management contractor must handle them.
Our free collection and recycling service provides a simple solution for cartridge waste disposal. Simply add one of our free cartridge collection boxes to your next order.
By recycling your used toner cartridges, not only are you helping to reduce the amount of landfill waste, you’re also saving the raw materials - including oil - which are needed to manufacture new ones.
KBS Computer Supplies Ltd Toner Donor Scheme.
This option is directed through
our warehouse. Customers are provided with recycling bins for empty cartridges which are uplifted on agreed time frames for recycling. They are then uplifted on behalf of the Northern Ireland Hospice Care Recycling
Appeal. Over the past three years KBS Computer Supplies Ltd have helped raise over £26,000 for NI Hospice and have made a significant contribution to
helping protect our environment. All products recycled are issued with a Duty of Care Certificate.
We also work with key OEM, to offer further recycling options to support your environmental objectives.
KBS brand of printercartridges, a new way forward.
As you may be aware, printer
supplies cost a lot of money… often much more than the cost of the printer itself over its working life. What’s more, many millions of them are sent to
landfill every year. Allow us to suggest a new way forward.
The KBS brand of remanufactured laser and inkjet cartridge range is available exclusively from KBS. It costs less than you think and delivers real sustainability… without compromising on quality.
Every cartridge carries international accreditation in terms of quality (ISO 9001) and environmental sustainability (ISO 14001:2004) in the manufacturing process. In the unlikely event of a KBS cartridges not performing, a replacement will be provided free of charge. The reported failure rate is just 0.075%… comparable to most “original” products.
Unlike other suppliers we have a team of engineers to support product failure, which offers additional piece of mind.
